On September 12, 2022, Jeffrey W. Bullock, the Secretary of State, and four other officials from the State of Delaware, U.S.A. visited　Tohoku University as a part of official visit to Miyagi Prefecture, on the occasion of the 25 years anniversary of sister states between Miyagi Prefecture and the State of Delaware.
